Mike Patakas

Mike joins The Agency’s Palm Springs Office after years of building strong working relationships with other agents from the office. Being located in a niche area, Mike’s experience is a huge asset to the Palm Springs team with his ability to be nimble in helping buyers find their perfect home. Previously, he worked at Premier Bancorp for nine years, a mortgage brokerage where he succeeded as a telemarketer, then loan officer, then Sales Manager. He’s extended his college major to the real estate world with his ability to tell a story with powerful imagery to clients, an important skill—especially in a buyer’s market where secondary homes are common and the need to see the bigger picture is essential. His previous positions in the mortgage industry taught him the importance of leadership and how collaborative minds often open up other avenues to success. Outside of work, Mike enjoys early hikes on Sunday mornings, working out often and spending time with his wife, Maria and their two dogs, Booda and Sophie and cat, Lola. He makes great use of the outdoors in Palm Springs with barbeques, trying new restaurants and meeting up for happy hours with friends. He also has a strong heart and frequently gives back to the people, businesses and environments of Palm Springs, and hopes to soon participate in Habitat for Humanity.
